In any case, this is used metaphorically for a particularly powerful mental self-perception.<\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div>A synonym for &quot;Vipassan&#257;&quot; is paccakkha, &quot;before the eyes,&quot; which refers to direct experiential perception.
