Many stations were embarrassed at the idea of promoting love and peace on air, but Deejay Tony Allan developed a cult following among listeners as he also combined his promotion of &#8220;Loving Awareness&#8221; with his deep knowledge of music, and rich radio voice. In 1974, O&#8217;Rahilly set up a group called <strong>The Loving Awareness Band<\/strong>, comprising ex <strong>Skip Bifferty<\/strong> guitarist <strong>John Turnbull<\/strong>, ex <strong>Unknowns \/ Animals\/ The Chosen Few<\/strong> keyboardist <strong>Mick Gallagher<\/strong> also a former member of <strong>Skip Bifferty<\/strong> and <strong>Bell and Arc<\/strong>) combined with ex <strong>Living Daylights \/Greatest Show On Earth\/ Fuzzy Duck<\/strong> bassist <strong>Norman Watt-Roy<\/strong> and drummer <strong>Charlie Charles<\/strong>. In 1976 <strong>The Loving Awareness Band<\/strong> released their only album, <em>Loving Awareness on \u2018More Love Records\u2019<\/em> (ML001), a label set up by O&#8217;Rahilly. The album was heavily promoted on the station, and was re-released by the \u2018Caroline\u2019 organisation in 2006 on CD with a replica of the original sleeve. The bulk of the album was bass centered around <strong>Norman Watt Roy\u2019s<\/strong> mighty slams, in particular \u201cFree Your Soul\u201d later the bass riff to be added to &#8220;Sex &amp; Drugs &amp; Rock &amp; Roll&#8221;. <strong>The Beatle<\/strong> vibe was so evident in \u201cThe Vibes Inside\u201d and \u201cVoice Of Love\u201d ,so <strong>George Harrison<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Loving Awareness<\/strong> were the hidden <strong>Beatles<\/strong> next to some ex <strong>Beach Boys<\/strong> called <strong>The Flame<\/strong> and so beautiful they were. <strong>The Lennon<\/strong> styled \u201cI Like What I Like\u201d, man it must have been a <strong>Beatle <\/strong>on the high seas. <strong>Loving Awareness<\/strong> also pulsated with a number of instrumental minimalist contributions perhaps in ode to <strong>Harrison<\/strong>\u2019s early <em>Wonderwall <\/em>endevours, Sitar spiced \u201cExistence\u201d, instrumental \u201cLove You To\u201d, the lavish \u201cNo other\u201d and \u201cClose the\u201d.
