I still ask myself why I&#8217;m in Iraq. Fighting for something that I don&#8217;t even know about. I wish I could say that I understood why we&#8217;re here. Maybe oil, maybe something else. Either way, it doesn&#8217;t justify all the lives that have been carelessly lost here. I can only pray for the families that have lost much of their lives because of this needless war. <\/p>\n<p>\nI feel sorry for all of the young soldiers here that may not get the chance to do many of the things that a lot of people take for granted. If I could quit the army, I would. I no longer believe that the values which were installed in me when I first joined the army are any longer a lifestyle, not even practiced very often. I do however have a great respect and admiration for my country, which is why I stay and fight for the freedom that hangs so delicately in the new millenium.
